This week at CrocusWay Farm

Our 100 broiler chicks arrived this week ,Brad picked up the 25 laying pullets Saturday. met Dawn and her healthy veggies at the Carstairs trade show saturday. we have a few tomatoe and pepper plants that my brother started for us in Crossfield. I attended a clay paint (the healthy paint) work shop in Calgary. Today we are going to meet some Alberta Aquaponics people in Calgary and someone is bringing out a great pyrenees pup for Kevin and Katie to see/keep. it was an interesting and very imfomative couple hours. lots more to think about before we make a commitment. Kevin met with few freinds in Calgary who are going to use a bit of garden space out here.

we raised 300 broilers in 2016. two batches, a very successful year raising them. they were allowed in the grass and part of the garden

the barn that we were going to use for aquaponics had a lot of mold in the ceiling so we cancelled those plans. we have for sale a stainless steel milk tank we were going to use. $600.00
